Our Health & Safety Program
At SAWW Developments, our Health & Safety Program is comprehensive and multifaceted.
It is our goal to provide a safe work environment for all workers at every level, while continually providing workplace awareness, for the prevention of occupational injuries and illness. We recognize and are committed to the right of workers to work in a safe, healthy work environment.
SAWW Developments engages in consultation with workers and, as part of this process, as developed specific health and safety training objectives for all employees with a focus on monitoring the workplace for compliance for legislative requirements and to achieve best operating practices at all times.
A program for conducting routine health and safety inspections to identify and eliminate unsafe working conditions or practices, and to control health hazards.
A comprehensive health and safety training program for all new and existing personnel.
Provisions for the use of personal protective equipment by all employees.
Company-wide health and safety policies requiring every employee of the company to comply as a condition of employment.
Provisions for mechanical and physical safeguards to the maximum extent possible.
A progressive disciplinary policy, where violations will be recorded.
